- Q. Who owns the park?
- A. The park is family owned and run
- Q. You have a Holiday Home for sale, are there any extras to pay on the price displayed?
- A. Yes you must insure your holiday home; Gas is bottled pay as you go and electric is metered and paid at the end of season.
- Q. What's included in the price?
- A. On new holiday homes sales this includes delivery, all service connections one set of steps and current years pitch fees.
- Q. What kind of security is there on the park.
- A. We take security on park very seriously including CCTV, Number Plate Recognition entry system, Private Entrance Road.
- Q. Can I sublet?
- A. No!! Though your family and friends are always very welcome.
- Q. Can I rent a caravan?
- A. The Park has a small hire fleet (6 in total for holiday hire)
- Q. What facilities are on park?
- A. We do not have a clubhouse or swimming pool, bingo, slot machines, gangs of feral teenagers. We do have a small children’s’ play area, lots of wildlife, our resident ducks, peace and quiet and a good sense of community.
- Q. Are there shops nearby?
- A. Yes we are only a 5 minute walk from Sandwich Town which has a co-op supermarket, post office, bakers, hardware shop, individual curio shops, plus many pubs and restaurants and quay side bistros. Excellent bus and train links are all on our doorstep.
- Q. Is there a laundry on site?
- A. Yes we have a laundry on site operated by tokens which are available from the reception during office hours.
- Q. Can I bring my pets?
- A. We are a pet friendly site we have people with cats dogs parrots and even some guinea pigs - Sandwich Leisure Welcomes all RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERES.
- Q. How long are we allowed to stay in our caravan Holiday Home?
- A. We are a Holiday Park with a Holiday Licence, the park is open from the 1st week in March to the 1st week in January NOT ALL YEAR and it can not be your only address! (Proof of your home address here or abroad will be required).
- Q. How long can I keep my holiday home on site?
- A. We give 15 years from the date of manufacture of the caravan and review yearly after that time.
- Q. Do I get an agreement?
- A. Yes you do we use the code of practice and licence agreement developed and approved by the BH & HPA and the NCC.
